This season, Jahorina has recorded its 300,000th skier, a milestone achieved by eight-year-old Lena Demenesku from Novi Sad. To mark the occasion, Lena received a set of ski equipment, including skis, a helmet, and goggles.

The ski season on Jahorina has now lasted for 102 days, bringing numerous improvements for visitors. A new lighting system has been installed, connecting the “Novak Đoković” slope with “Skočine,” and a new ski lift has been put into operation, further enhancing skiing conditions.

Thanks to an advanced artificial snowmaking system, more than 250,000 cubic meters of artificial snow have been produced this season, ensuring extended skiing opportunities despite challenging weather conditions.

Compared to previous years, the number of skiers on Jahorina has significantly increased. Seven years ago, only 30,000 skiers visited the resort during an entire season, whereas today, that number has grown to 300,000. In addition to well-maintained slopes, visitors also benefit from flexible ski pass pricing, adjusted according to the availability of ski tracks.

The recently opened “Igrišta” ski center near Vlasenica is another attractive winter sports destination. Featuring a new six-seater chairlift, a snowmaking system, and a children’s training area, it offers additional opportunities for skiing enthusiasts in the region.
