What a family ski holiday on Jahorina costs: One day, four days and a week

Ski passes, accommodation, equipment, food and parking for two adults and two children: an interactive breakdown for one, four and seven days on Jahorina in winter 2026/27.

The ski pass price is the first thing people check before a winter holiday, but on its own it says little about the final bill. Add up the nights, equipment, meals and parking, and a week on the mountain becomes a serious item in the family budget.

For two adults and children aged eight and eleven, we worked out the cost of one, four and seven days of skiing. Prices were checked on 5 November 2026 against published offers for winter 2026/27. We chose 8 to 15 February, when regular ski pass prices apply. Travel to Jahorina is not included.

One day, four days or a whole week

The one-day trip is calculated without an overnight stay. The longer options include four or seven nights on Jahorina and the same number of ski days, arriving the day before. These are comparative examples.

Day passes for the parents and two children cost 362 KM in total. For four days the family price list brings the bill down to 1,000 KM, and for seven days to 1,455 KM. Buying individual day passes every morning for a week would come to 2,534 KM, according to the OC Jahorina price list.

Set aside another 40 KM as a refundable deposit for the chip cards, 10 KM per card. If you have young children or beginners, arrange their lessons first: according to OC Jahorina, a ski area pass is not valid in the ski kindergarten.

What goes into the family bill

In the table, choose the budget or comfort option and the dates, and see how the total changes.

The comfort option includes the larger apartment and a food budget of 160 KM a day; for the one-day trip only the food differs. The budget option assumes some meals are cooked in the apartment. Equipment hire covers skis, boots, poles and helmets, and the published multi-day discount on equipment is included.

Šestosjed JahorinaParking is calculated according to the 2025/26 season, because the new price list has not yet been confirmed. Back then a ticket for four to seven days cost 60 KM, but it was not valid at Poljice and the Lane car park, according to OC Jahorina.

Ski lessons are not included. If the children are still learning, arrange lessons in advance and check the price before you arrive, as it depends on the number of lessons and whether the children can learn together.

Where you can save

Skijaši na gondoliTiming makes a difference. From 18 January to 7 February, OC Jahorina offers a 15 percent discount on ski passes. Family passes then cost 850 KM for four days and 1,238 KM for seven. The apartment for four from our example costs 90 euros from 24 January, so seven nights are about 548 KM cheaper than on the chosen February dates.

Check what is included, discounts on equipment hire and parking. At weekends and during holidays, plan to arrive at Poljice early and arrange equipment pick-up in advance. If it is crowded, look at the other open entry points to the ski area, depending on where you are staying and how well you ski.

Ravna Planina and day trips as part of the holiday

Skijaši se fotografišu na JahoriniAt Ravna Planina, day passes for this family cost 150 KM, four-day passes 450 KM and seven-day passes 690 KM, according to the Ravna Planina Ski Centre price list. You can stay on Jahorina, but you need to add transport. When wind stops some of Jahorina’s lifts, skiing is sometimes possible on the more forested Ravna Planina; still, check that the centre is open before you set off.

Seven nights do not have to mean seven days of skiing. Six-day family passes on Jahorina cost 1,404 KM, so a rest day saves a modest 51 KM on passes, plus a little on equipment hire. Multi-day passes are used on consecutive days, so plan a day trip for the start or end of your stay.

For that day you could plan a visit to Baščaršija in Sarajevo or Orlovača Cave, after checking winter opening hours. Tickets and transport for day trips are paid separately.
