The climate on Jahorina varies depending on altitude, location, and exposure to winds.

The Jahorina ski resort is situated between 1321 meters above sea level (Six-seater Skočine), while the highest peak, Ogorjelica, reaches 1916 meters above sea level. Poljice is located at 1527 meters above sea level, while Ogorjelica is at 1568 meters above sea level.

Skočine – Vrhprača, located in the lower part of the mountain, has a milder climate compared to the higher parts. Here, temperatures are somewhat higher than the rest of the mountain, so the ski slope may be somewhat softer on warmer days.

Poljice, the middle part of Jahorina, is situated in a valley, sheltered by forests. During the season, when strong winds prevent vertical transport to the top of the mountain, the ski lift on Poljice is usually in operation.

The top of Jahorina and the bare Jahorina have a windy and cold climate, especially in winter. The average snow height on the peaks is usually lower than on the slopes during the season.

Average precipitation in winter months, specifically in January, is 52mm, with an average daily maximum of -3°C and an average daily minimum of -9°C. On cold nights, temperatures can drop to -18°C. In summer, precipitation is lower, at 44mm, with an average daily maximum of 18°C and an average daily minimum of 8°C. On tropical days, temperatures reach 24°C, while on a cold night in August, temperatures can drop to 2°C.
